The TShaw Strong 5K to Beat ALS in Brentwood has a timed 5K, a 1K Kids Fun Run, and a Virtual 5K you can complete anywhere. Bring people. A team of eight raises far more than eight individuals.

Money is not the only useful thing you have.
It is the most useful thing, and we will not pretend otherwise. But a volunteer on race morning, a company team in the 5K, or one person forwarding Tim's story to someone who has never heard of ALS. Those are not consolation prizes.

Work an event
Race morning needs course marshals, packet pickup, water stops, kids corner and setup. The golf tournament needs hole spotters, registration and auction help. It is a few hours and it is genuinely fun.
